Do you record your church services onto CDs or cassettes?
In many churches the worship services are being recorded and reproduced for those members who can't participate in this service.
If music is recored onto CDs, DVDs or cassettes it is considered as reproduction of songs. This is act is protected by copyright law and you will have to get permission from the song owner and remunerate him or her. No exception will be made for churches or Christian organisations.
The prices are determined by the price list of the VR-T-H1 tariff of GEMA.

Our Tip: If possible, do not record the music onto the CDs or cassettes.
